3840x2160 is native 4K; and most 4K video also has HDR (High Dynamic Range - primarily noticeable in darker scenes - makes a huge improved image difference).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use the monitor for photo editing using RAW format. Therefore each bite is important in checking each photo. I have a good Dell laptop for much of my photo editing but I find that the Benq monitor gives me the best resolution for tricky photos. If you don't plan to use your monitor to that level, I would not purchase a new monitor.
