QuestionCan you use this on a switched outlet?

- Answer No. There is only one set of poles/terminals to connect to. You could connect both sets of wires, but you lose the switch functionality (and I'm not sure if that meets electrical code doing so).

QuestionWhy is it so hard to plug in a regular NEMA plug? I have to really push it in there to be able to plug in any regular plugs.

- Answer It is because of the tamper resistance. There are protective latches inside you are trying to click open. Get used to it. NEC codes make it a must-have.

- Answer The 2 USB Ports have 3.6-amp total output (shared). The maximum output for each port is 12 watts.
