“I have an existing recessed opening with trim around the circumference that I want to put a TV in. If I use this bracket and center it vertically in the opening, is there a measurement for centering the bracket horizontally? It looks like it mounts low?”

I actually put this on the outside of the wall but it sets out about 4 inches the small TV so I think it’s actually meant to sit in a specific place I think it’s the dimensions of your set back imite Then the actual Bracket itself you should be fine, it’s very very inexpensive and works well, I highly recommend using this bracket.
