“When attaching the TV to the arm, does the TV rest on the arm or does it need to be held while the 2 nuts are attached? I've installed mounts where the TV can be placed on the arm and then it rests there while you work on securing it to the arm.”

It's best to have a 2nd person to hold the TV in place while securing it with the nuts provided. Super easy to secure it, but I'd recommend playing it safe with an extra set of hands since it could potentially slip off.

Thread two nuts (M6) onto the TV plate, then tighten the nuts to secure the TV to the wall plate with the 6 × 6 Allen wrench. Note: Tighten the upper nut (M6) first to make sure that the TV does not slide off during installation.
