- A:Answer I just ordered a dishwasher and it's charging $179.99 for installation. Not sure what's changed as I have never paid for installation of anything. TV, TV Mount, Garbage disposal, above stove Microwave. This does not include any required hardware.

Q: QuestionDoes this cover my past month's purchases if I get the membership now? If yes, does it cover the full protection that total tech offers? If it does not cover my past purchases and are still in return window, can I return them and buy again to get covered?

- A:Answer Hi Ali! Totaltech will cover most tech that you already own, but it does not retroactively add the Best Buy protection plan/AppleCare+ to past purchases. This only applies to purchases from when you bought the membership and for as long as it's active. You would however be able to return/exchange the products only if they are still in the return policy window and then get the membership benefits. - A:Answer DO NOT CALL 1(888)-715-9141. I REPEAT. DO NOT CALL THAT NUMBER. They will try to connect to your computer remotely. DO NOT CALL that number and do not let them connect to your computer. The correct number will be on your Best Buy receipt or on the Best Buy website and find the "Contact Us" link on the bottom of the page.

Q: QuestionIf the return period for an item has expired and I purchase total tech will that item be eligible for return again or is it only if said item is purchased after you activate a total tech subscription?

- A:Answer Hello and thank you for your question May! Best Buy return policy is 15 days for purchases without a Best Buy Totaltech membership. Your membership has to be active and the item needs to be purchased at Best Buy to receive the 60 day return period.
