Dear customer, all of our furniture utilizes the P2 grade particle board that is certified by CARB. A material that does not require cutting down trees and has a relatively low consumption of forest resources. About the furniture slides, it depends on how to assemble it. We do not recommend that customers make changes to the product. And yes, customers need to assemble the product. We have instructions inside to guide customers how to assemble it step by step.
