A:Answer I wish I could answer this question, however, I purchased 2 of these because I loved the size of a smaller crockpot for the 2 of us & BOTH arrived with defects, lids that didn't fit, inner cooking pot wasn't glazed in all areas, did not feel it was safe to cook using an inner pot that would probably break or leak because areas weren't "fired" and properly sealed. I ended up purchasing a 4-qt Rival Digital crockpot to use.
