• There is no power source needed for the water stream, the pressure of the water is used to push the water out in a stream. There is a place for batteries but that is just to power the light on the knob. I put batteries in at install but will not be replacing them after they die.

• This bidet is not electric. It is powered only by the water pressure from the water line into your toilet tank.
