A:Answer We have an old, round toilet, too. It fits OK. The mounting bracket allows about 2 inches of adjustment, and for us, I could only get it half-way back... so it does push the front inner edge of the seat about 3/4" past the inner edge of the bowl. Not perfect, but not a huge problem. If you have 1.5" of space between the center of the Toilet Seat mounting holes and the front of the tank, you will be OK.
