“We have an old round toilet, and are worried the back end (the part up against the bowl) is too deep (meaning front to back) for the toilet. Anybody install on an older toilet body or know how deep from the bowl to the seat it is?”

We have an old, round toilet, too. It fits OK. The mounting bracket allows about 2 inches of adjustment, and for us, I could only get it half-way back... so it does push the front inner edge of the seat about 3/4" past the inner edge of the bowl. Not perfect, but not a huge problem. If you have 1.5" of space between the center of the Toilet Seat mounting holes and the front of the tank, you will be OK.
