A:Answer The three oval plastic pieces are supposed to be used as bumpers to take stress off the toilet seat. They are much too large for that purpose. Don't even try to use them. If there is too much stress on your toilet seat, it is because the ring is not flat on the underside. You might need to purchase a new seat with a flat underside, but I doubt it. I could not use another brand bidet attachment with my toilet seat that bows down on the underside at the back. I am able to use the Bio Bidet as it has such a slim design. I did not use the bumpers and there are no problems with the seat.
Just a note of caution: On the advice of a plumber, I hand tightened all connections [no wrenches] and have no leaks. If you must use tools, don't be over zealous-- especially with any plastic connection.
