• I would think so! It has a really good suction, but hard to tell without looking at the padding before and after.

• Yes it does if you utilize the correct technique, of prespraying and brushing before extraction. If the pad is your main concern, a professional can use a pad plate with a steamer for the best way to clean a soiled pad.
