“Does the filter have to be dry to use the vac or does the water filter through it while using it ?”

• The water filters through it! It is a similar mechanism as a carpet cleaner but for floors.

• The filter should be completely dry when put inside the machine so it can protect the machine from water and debris getting into the motor.
