“Can you use this vacuum as a mini carpet cleaner? Basically would it clean up small dog accidents and leave the carpet smelling nice?”

yes- I did use it on regular plush carpets , not just a rug a full room , and it cleaned and left the room smelling clean, of course i think you should only use it for quick clean ups in between full carpet cleaning because I doubt it is powerful enough to extract all the water from the rug and you might want to be cautious on how much soap you use so your carpets not sticky but for a light surface clean it works and left my room smelling clean.

Please try again later.Yes just don't forget that you will be cleaning the compartments yourself so you will be touching at least when it comes to you scrubbing- cleaning the brush whatever it is that you are cleaning . it does not fit into small areas because it does not have a hose to use or doesn't come apart but yeah it clean up pretty nicely when it comes to carpets.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It can clean up rugs but, as far as thick carpet maybe not. It does an amazing job however cleaning up thick dog hair on my hardwood floors. It's an amazing product and cuts clean up down to nothing. It picks up egg shells, eggs, cereal, and tons more. You will fall in love with this product. You can see the dirt and and all getting sucked up.
