Can this be used as a regular vacuum cleaner as well? null

Hi Val - the CrossWave isn't intended to be used as a dry vacuum. It will vacuum and wash your hard floors and area rug at the same time. So for best results, it should always be used with water and BISSELL CrossWave Formula.

I typically vacuum my hard floors with a robot vacuum prior to using solution for mopping, but it does have the ability to vacuum as well. I've used it pick up any debris the other vaccum missed, and it will get rinsed out with the dirty water when I clean the tank. I don't know if I would use it as my primary vacuum on carpets, but I haven't tried it to know how well it would work
