“Can I use my own cleaning solution in this and does it suction up the water that is put down?”

• Personally I wouldn’t use any other cleaner than what Bissell recommends. Machines I find work better if direction/operation instructions are followed . The Crossover suction is great.

• I suppose you can use any cleaning solution that doesn't foam, but I use the one made for it because it was made for it. It does suck up most of the fluid but leaves a slight dampness that dries quickly.
