BUY IT! You won’t regret it!
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.BEST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE!! I have a Great Dane, a beagle and a 5 year old daughter and my floors are always covered in mud, dirt, juice, hair, etc…. I have tried literally every type of vacuum/mop and this is by far the best there is! It doesn’t just push the dirt around, it actually cleans it!

My BFF
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. No love is as great as the first, as they say. I bought this last year but after taking it to a friends house and power washing and vacuuming their entire 2 bedroom apartment for 5 hours straight for 2 days in a row, i think i mightve found the breaking point of this product... Haha, so after it wouldnt turn on, i returned it. I ended up going through 3 other new vacuums and returned them all, only to repurchase this as the 5th one. As i mentioned in the previous review for the Bissell Proheat Duo Pet vacuum, this one here was the absolute perfect size for a 5'3 girl living in a small apt. Its great in smler spaces and even if the suction is not as powerful as the Proheat Duo vacuum, this one does a good enough job for the size and its ease of use cant be beat. Cleaning it is suuuuuuper easy, refilling the water is super easy, and all i gotta do is just press a maximum of 2 buttons. (Meanwhile the pro heat duo has me feeling like an airplane technician, after having to take out a bunch components to clean it which was NOT easy and having so many buttons!!!) Im a bit OCD with vacuuming my carpet all the time (every day) and im always very pleased with the carpet cleaning after i wash it. Overall its been the best model i have found for a Wet/Dry vacuum so i highly recommend if its for a 1 bedroom apt. My only gripes are that this is not easy to push!!! Also wish it could suction better when going BACKWARDS because it only suctions good moving forward but not if i pass over it backwards and if the suction would be stronger too. Otherwise, i love it!

Great. Love It Much!
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Great alternative to hand mopping, which is why we bought it. Note, that absolutely (& unequivocally) it does take multiple rounds of mopping before the floor actually comes out clean! Outlined the process below along w. PRO’s & CON’s, and lessons learned. PROs: super easy to glide, is not exhausting to mop [compared to normal mopping], feels like a quality motor & piece of machine, super easy to pull apart & put back together because pieces ONLY fit ONE possible way which is huge — even my daughter loves mopping now. CONs: small tank needs constant empty/refill with new water & solution, vacuum brush needs frequent rinsing/cleaning even between the many empty/refill cycles. Does not do well vacuuming. CLEANING PROCESS: to actually get [fully] clean floors: (1) split the house into rooms [no larger than 13x15 size] and tackled one room at a time. (2) for each room, we mopped three times total. (3) each time we mopped we went over the area twice: once vertically [fwd/backwards across room], second time horizontally [left/right]. We had to mop SLOW & rinse the brush head ~3-5x per room. Lastly, we had to dump old water & refill new solution at least 2x per room. By the end of round 3, floors felt noticeably clean and the ‘wipe’ test on white napkin was clean. This was our “first house clean” after unboxing. Our floors did NOT look or feel that dirty beforehand. We now [try to] mop every 6-9 weeks. LESSONS: — Learned the lower/rug setting [brush pressed firmer against floor] works SO much better at all times! Albeit, likely wears brush out faster. — Tried several cleaners: including Bissell Pet formula (just ok), Zep (best, but even diluted leaks suds out the side of vacuum a little), biokleen (not anymore), and botanical decon30 disinfectant (never again, sud city!). — Definitely recommend vacuuming first but would not recommend using this device as a vacuum at all. FINAL: Yes, I would absolutely recommend & buy again. We’ll see how long it lasts!

Vacuum and Mop With One Machine
|Posted .All the components of this machine came well-packed in one box that has hand holds on either side of the box; that is important to me just to get it in the house. It literally took minutes to set up this Pet Crosswave, with a quick start guide and full owner manual included. I already have a Bissell Pet Vacuum cleaner and I do love the Tangle-free brush roll. On other machines I usually have to get out a scissor and cut the hair off the roller. So, the dog hair gets sucked up from the Tangle-free brush roll and it is not the nicest thing to have the pet hair with the dirty water in the canister. There are 2 small containers of floor cleaner included that have a flower fragrance. I was told by Bissell that this machine is not meant to clean carpet, but rather area rugs because it is not a deep cleaner. I did use this on several area rugs, though, and found that it did a good job cleaning and deodorizing. However, when you are done and it is time to clean up the dirty water bottle be prepared to see all sorts of hair and other yucky solids that the machine picked up. I used toilet paper to retrieve and clean out those solids before dumping the dirty water in the toilet. Clearly, I only want to put water into my sewer system without bulk solids so it is important to clean out canister as best as possible. Then you need to either dry these pieces or let them air dry. Pros-does a good job, easy to use, set up for a while with cleaning fluid and other components. Cons-no accessories for upholstery, etc. and ultimate clean up of dirty water bottle.

Q: QuestionDoes this take place of mopping aka using a a Swiffer for the floor? Can this be an option to mop/vacuum floor all in one then vacuum the rug area after.
Asked by Jazmine.
- A:Answer Good question! This machine is intended to mop and vacuum your floors at the same time.

Q: QuestionI’m trying to understand if this machine is a good replacement for cleaning carpets also! I love the idea of this product... I have a 21 year old cat that has oopsies!!! Thank you, Karen Akers
Asked by Karena.
- A:Answer It really depends on the length of the carpet. This device is geared toward flooring and area rugs, but it does perform pretty well on low carpet. I wouldn't use in on anything that has any length beyond short.

Q: QuestionIs there a difference between this one and the regular ones besides that pet hair?
Asked by Millertime.
- A:Answer It is the same machine with different features. The Pet Pro comes with special pet formula, a pet hair strainer, a pet multi-surface brush roll, and it is a different color than the other machine. I hope this helps!

Q: QuestionWhat is the actual service life and how often do these get rev for warranty repairs. In the past I have never had a Gisselle that lasted more than a few uses so I am highly hesitant to buy this but I like the idea as steam mop pads only hold so much dirt
Asked by G8keapor.
- A:Answer We have used this device pretty often since buying. We love it as it vacuums and mops at the same time. Leaves the flor clean and with no small dirt particles left behind. Clean up of the device is super easy and fast.

Q: QuestionWe have a husky who can shed another dog or two. I see the procedure on cleaning the brush, but doesn't the fur get stuck to the brush? If that happens how do you clean that??
Asked by PetFreak.
- A:Answer We have a Labrador which sheds like its her only job. Now that you asked this, I forgot how cool this product is. I clean the brush, but barely ever see hair on the brush. It’s always in the container where it’s supposed to be. I don’t know how they do it, but it works.

Q: QuestionIs it possible to JUST vacuum with this machine if I don’t need to mop every time?
Asked by Vacuum.
- A:Answer Yes. You pull a trigger to actuate the mop part. Don’t pull the trigger and you have just a vacuum and brush.
