• You can vacuum and clean not only your bare floors but your rugs at the same time. Does a great job. Removes so much dirt and hair. Super easy.

• I use this in place of the Swiffer as an all in one mop\vacuum action. I haven't used it on an area rug but I think Bissel sells a rug attachment.
