Does this machine clean up both hard and soft puppy poops? We are elderly and have three Chihuahuas & a Chiweenie. Two dogs are elderly and have been pad trained because we do not have a fenced yard & area predator threats. The pups likely too. null

I would pick up as much as you can before running the vacuum over it. It will clean up the messes, but limiting how much it needs to pick up will make the results much better.

Not sure it would pick up hard poops well, but diarrhea it would. I used it to pick up dog puke full of soggy kibble and it worked great.

You clean the deposits personally and the machine will clean the stain left behind

I would not use this for either. This is for dirt, mud, dust, hair, litter, and small food bits. If it were a liquid mess (vomit/diarrhea) it might do OK, but nothing bigger or more substantial than that.
