• Yes it is. Doesn't get the floor super wet. Just dam and dries very quickly. Less than 10 mins

• Yes, it is safe for hardwoods as it has good suction and does well at getting up all of the liquid that it dispenses for wet cleaning.

• From my experience, yes. I would use the hardwood formula cleaner to be safe. Also, make sure there is no open areas that will allow moisture to seep in. Any hardwood floor is susceptible to water damage if there is a opening/gap between the slats.
