• I have longer than shoulder length hair, and it is everywhere. I have had no problems with it getting wrapped around the brush. Its magic I guess.

• The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser picks up dirt as well as both human and dog hair (short or long) EXTREMELY well!

• MaryKay, it does an excellent job in all of those 3 areas. Give it a try; I'm sure you'll be pleased as my wife and I both were. Bissell appears to have good customer support, from what I've read, if you run into any problems.

• It's great with all three, MaryKay! The brush has been specially designed to ensure the hair goes into the dirt tank and does not wrap around.
