I really don't think I would try that. I'd be worried as heck about it scratching it up. The bristles on the brushes are fairly firm. They can tear through a cord, or even heat or melt certain types of carpet. If the carpet is bunched or angled up for a doorway. At least if you set it uneven running right where it angles up. Even if it's just a min, or a few seconds. Trust me on this. LOL. A mistake I won't make twice.
