- Answer After less than 2 years of use and routinely cleaning the brush heads. The belt motor has seized and no longer rotating. I can only imagine due to pet hair and tension. While I feel the price is right for the machine, I question if it should last longer than two years with regular use and cleaning of machine. If I order again I will be buying the extended warranty. Threw it in the trash.

- Answer Because one of the few flaws with this machine is when you lean handle back, to use it. Water reaches the full mark when it is only 1/3 full. Another is it could sometimes use some extra weight in front right above the brushes, depending on your carpet. One way to get the suction to work a little longer is to lift the handle a little higher if you can. That also helps a little with the weight on the front.

- Answer No; it has cleaning chemicals and it can take up to 8 hrs to dry on deep clean. Mold requires days of wet areas and a specific humidity and temperature. If you’re concerned just turn on a ceiling fan.

- Answer Look it up on YouTube - you need a flat screwdriver to pop it off after you take the screw out of the back and the "cord holding bracket". YouTube is great, I just had to remove it and the video is way better than anyone can explain.

- Answer Although it does technically vacuum while it’s cleaning. It would be better to vacuum the area first with normal vacuum and then proceed to clean. Reason being is the internal components (pipes, tubes and pump) are sensitive to clogging if bigger pieces of debris are picked up.

- Answer For any type of stain, I prefer to use any bissell/oxy spray. Most are pre-treater. The absolute best are the ones that are in a spray can. There are some in spray bottles too. They are very good as well. But I've never found anything that works better or faster then the stuff in the can. Any stain spray it. You can scrub some but seldom have to. Come back in a little while it's gone. Can wait for it to dry and vacuum up. Or can use carpet cleaner whenever you wish. (I cleaned up black tattoo ink that had spilled on a large pillow wedge then sat and set for a couple months after someone took the pillow out to the garage, so wouldn't get on anything else). If not stained any of the basic Bissell carpet cleaners will work. For best smelling can use the bissell with febreze or the Bissell with Gain scent to them. They also have cleaning fresh scent boosters you can add. I know one of them was cranberry I don't remember what the other scents were.

- Answer I really don't think I would try that. I'd be worried as heck about it scratching it up. The bristles on the brushes are fairly firm. They can tear through a cord, or even heat or melt certain types of carpet. If the carpet is bunched or angled up for a doorway. At least if you set it uneven running right where it angles up. Even if it's just a min, or a few seconds. Trust me on this. LOL. A mistake I won't make twice.
