No, this is a carpet specific cleaner - not to be used on hard floors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know that I would want to try that. It might work fine. Depending on the type of tile. Ceramic tile I'd be worried about damaging the grout between it. Any linoleum or vinyl type tile I'd worry about it scratching it up. If you really really want to know. If you have a hidden spot on your floor like underneath a desk or the center of a table something like that. Maybe even under the stove or the refrigerator. Just move whatever it is and try it in a very small hidden spot. I do know that my old one did okay cleaning linoleum and vinyl as well as ceramic tile. It got it cleaner depending on who come in from the fields recently etc, or if the boys have been out in the mud. But it could also make a little bit of a mess throwing water everywhere because of the flat solid surfaces. Since it is a carpet cleaner it is made to work best on carpet. They do have those wet dry steam mops now that work on most any type of floor. I think they even have just a straight-up steam mop ya know, not wet dry type just wet and hot steam.
