Yes. You have more control from the spray heads being smaller that can get into the corners of the step's small area, being much easier to use than a larger steamer. The size of the unit and the weight, even with a full tank of hot water, should easily rest on the step below you as you move up the steps. With the length of the hose, you should easily be able to do 3-4 steps without moving the Pro Heat. Hope this helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't see why not... I've even used it for my car seats and floors and is good for cleaning up new puppy messes. Though I will say, I've had two. Neither of them gets/got hot and one of them leaked and spewed dirty water all over the place. I returned that one and the agent at the store said theirs did the same thing... Hoping the other one won't develop the same problem.
