A:Answer Yes it is less money because it does not have the spot cleaner, which I hated. The wife would just set it down and expect it to do everything itself. But it only cleans that little area. I end up using the hose attachment every time anyway. Not worth the extra money to me, but you might have a pet that only makes a 3" mess.
