• A:Answer it does not have a hose or wand attachment, it can only clean what is under the base. It also needs a flat surface for the suction to work, so even if you were willing to place the whole unit on your couch or upholstery, it probably would not work out well.

• A:Answer Yes, using the hose and head attachment. I usually have to carry it to the landing to get all of the stairs clean. But, it is very light, even when full.
