“If I have an existing family pack subscription (1 year) that expires in 40 days, can I purchase this and activate it in my existing account? Also, if I buy this here yet activate it in my home country, will it work?”

I had a running subscription, what adding this license does is extend the current subscription and adds two more years on top of what you currently have. I had the same question when I bought it but had to try because I didn't find the answer.

Yes you can as long as it is the same product, bitdefender family renew to bitdefender family, or total security and you re-buy total security. You should have a bitdefender account, you will get a code, and you can type that value into you old account to renew. Another way is to open your bitdefender phone app and at the bottom of your bitdefender app is a dashboard, there are three dots to the right. Choosing this will open my account and at the top is your email. To the right of your email is an arrow signifying more, choose this and a new new drop menu appears, on this menu is an add an activation code.
