I have changed to another Internet Security program because I didn't like how Bit Defender caused problems with using our wireless printer and on some computers, it prevented us from getting online. There were online instructions for getting around this but it was too much of a hassle. I preferred to pay a little extra to get protection without frustration. However, it will check all of your programs.

You can schedule deep scan (it takes time) for the end of the day or the dawn,few hours before you start working. Then you can schedule quick system scans to run during your lunch break. Bitedefender does watch every time you use a browser. In addition scan any device when you plug/connect them into your computer
