It worked for me. However, it's a little confusing. You'll have to wait for Bitdefender to send the email. Then you'll have to setup an account through them. It's not as user friendly at it should

BitDefender has widely known "pop-up" issues, very frequent on-screen notifications which are incredibly annoying and distracting. Search Google for "BitDefender problems" etc. You will find MANY negative reviews, along with horrible customer service. I went through it. This is a truly bad product. I can recommend, from previous and current (after cancelling BitDefender) "Webroot Internet Security Plus + Antivirus". That works very well, always in the background.
