• Yes, it is highly recommended that you remove the other antivirus software before installing Bitdefender. Antivirus programs do not usually play well together, and running two at the same time will often lead to one singling out the other as a virus, or in some cases, even cause file corruption. Plus, running two apps can really eat up system resources.

• Yes, I would remove the other before installing Bitdefender. If you don't it will create a conflict. Think of it as not divorcing your wife before you move your new girlfriend in.
