When fully discharged my battery takes over an hour to charge. I have a Ford Fusion 4 door and I can vacuum the front, back seats and floors on one charge, but it all depends really on how clean you keep the car to begin with. If you don't vacuum often then obviously you might need to charge it twice. I tend to vacuum on a daily basis because sand is a carpets worst enemy lol

Please try again later.Black & Decker website indicates the charge duration is 4 hours - I'm assuming they mean that's how long it takes to charge, not how long the charge lasts (some of the other models indicated a 10-hour charge duration so seems like it might recharge quicker than some of the others)
