• A:Answer The Blink Sync Module XR's new extended range feature is only compatible with the Blink Outdoor 4 camera, it will not apply to the Blink Video Doorbell. With all other cameras that are not the Blink Outdoor 4, the Sync Module XR will function as a normal Sync Module. Building materials such as stucco can interrupt or block a significant amount of signal and this would not change with your Doorbell even if you introduce a Sync Module XR. https://support.blinkforhome.com/en_US/using-sync-module-xr/extended-range

• A:Answer All Blink devices are cross-compatible regardless of generation. The newest Sync Module will work with the oldest camera model and vice versa.

Q: QuestionDo I need to sync all my 10 cameras again to this new hub ? Taking them all down to open them up to the scan bar code?

• A:Answer Hi Blue, thank you for your question. If you are simply replacing an old Sync Module with a replacement Sync Module (any generation) you do not need to re-add any camera. The only exception is if you have already manually deleted any of the cameras, or if you have deleted the entire system. I hope this helps, have a great day!
