• A:Answer The Blink Sync Module XR's new extended range feature is only compatible with the Blink Outdoor 4 camera, it will not apply to the Blink Video Doorbell. With all other cameras that are not the Blink Outdoor 4, the Sync Module XR will function as a normal Sync Module. • A:Answer All Blink devices are cross-compatible regardless of generation. The newest Sync Module will work with the oldest camera model and vice versa.

• A:Answer Hi Von, Rechargeable batteries aren’t recommended for Blink Outdoor 4 cameras because they don’t maintain a consistent voltage as they discharge, which can cause unreliable performance or short battery life. Lithium AA batteries provide the stable power the cameras need. Hope this helps!

• A:Answer Hi Blue, thank you for your question. If you are simply replacing an old Sync Module with a replacement Sync Module (any generation) you do not need to re-add any camera. The only exception is if you have already manually deleted any of the cameras, or if you have deleted the entire system. I hope this helps, have a great day!
