The Blink XT 1-camera system is a stand alone system with one camera and the sync module. The Blink cameras detect thermal motion not sound. The cameras themselves do record video as well as audio.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That is the stand alone unit with the sync module. The video & sound come on at the same time when the camera is activated by motion. I have both the stand alone and have added one add on unit and have ordered a second add on for complete coverage of my front and rear doors. The unit is very easy to install, 1 screw and is also very easy to set up and sync with your cell phone. Great peace of mind for short money and no monitoring fee.
