I used double sided tape, mine is on the inside of my screened in porch. very sturdy, don't like to put holes in things.

Yes it is mounted using screws.

We do supply a regular hardware screws with the Blink camera mounts, but you may likely need to purchase an anchor or other screw type for brick, metal or other depending on the wall surface you were going to mount the camera on. Please note, use of the included screws for the mount will create two holes in the surface of the wall.
