• no, I dont believe it will record with the module off

• The Blink cameras, when armed record clips based on motion detection only. If the cameras are not armed or they do not detect any motion in their field of view they would not turn on and record any clips. The Blink cameras do not offer continuous recording, though you can leave the system armed for motion detection for any interval of time. If the sync module was offline or did not have power the Blink System/Cameras would not operate.
