To answer your question Ms. Dani, is the answer is yes. I recently brought this BLU V7 for my mother in which she had a plan with Consumer Cellular. Again, Yes it does have a tendency to run hot. I even had to download an APP called Cool Master to delete additional back files and optimized the lowest cooling temperature for the phone to operate.
