“I tried to activate mine today (got it at BestBuy) and a Tracfone guy with a very thick Indian accent told me it was locked. I plan to go back to BestBuy tomorrow and see if they have a SIM kit for it. I guess I don't even know what to ask!”

• All of our devices are unlocked, unless you are buying it from a carrier.

• I was told by BestBuy it was already unlocked. UPDATE: Tracfone's automated system tells me it's not compatible with Tracfone! I'll keep trying for a couple of more days before I return the phone.

• Swap it out for a unlocked phone. Thats a big reason people get that particular model. Because its a unlocked phone
