- Answer Yes there are multiple pickup patterns you will need to learn to figure out how to make it work for your situation but it is effectively noise cancellation. YouTube helped me a lot with that!

- Answer I can say it is compatible with a newer gen Ipad Pro but i had to buy an adaptor. My best guess is it quite possibly could be. Most newer phones now have a usb-c so just try it out with an adaptor, usb to usb-c. Best wishes
