• Yes, the air is very dry. I put a humidifier in the room. Is it due to the heat or the purification?

• I haven’t had an issue with it. However if you have central air and or air conditioning, it could be the cause. My purifier hasn’t felt moist or damp so air moisture doesn’t seem to get trapped by it. Sorry to hear of your son!
