• They are throw away filters. However they should last approximately a year. I haven't had to buy any yet.

• the Blueair 680i has 3 filters, all the same size and cost about $50 each. They cannot be cleaned - other than vacuumed, but depending on how dirty the air is where it's located should be changed out about once a year. (the manufacture recommends every 6 months but in our house that's excessive).

• Recommend blueair filters about every 6months. Cost for the the 3 filters it takes is about $90

• Hi, Blueair Air Purifiers use replacement filters that needs to be discarded or recycled after use. The cost of a replacement filter for the Classic Series 680i is $79.99. Our recommended filter replacement time is 6 months of regular everyday usage.
