Hi, the Blueair's HEPASilent™ technology uses a combination of mechanical and electrostatic filtration to capture and remove particles from indoor air, which it does so specifically and strategically: an ionizer component is designed to only charge particles at a very low current in order to increase the filtration efficiency in the air purifier’s filter and achieve a higher Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR).
