No. The keyboard does not actually plug into the tablet at all. The keyboard battery is for the Bluetooth transceiver only.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it does not. There is a separate charging port for both the tablet and the keyboard. One does NOT charge the other.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it charges by micro USB, the same charger that works for the tablet, so you don't have to buy a sperate charger if you don't want to, but you have to charge them seperately. The batteries do not "communicate" to each other. That is, your tablet can be dead while the keyboard is fully charge, and vice versa. No "between device" charging occurs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The keyboard cover has a separate charging inlet. Sorry it doesn't "connect" so only one charging cord would be needed. That would be convenient though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't believe the keyboard can add battery life to the Tab S because the Tab S cannot access the keyboard battery. Samsung did not even provide the capability to charge the keyboard from the Tab S.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't see where this keyboard can affect the battery life of the tablet. When I turn the keyboard on, it syncs with my tablet to use as a computer and then turn off when done. Battery charge on the keyboard itself is long.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. I've been using my Surface Pro 3 for a while and without I can say the keyboard does not add battery life. If anything it consumes the battery but not at any substantial rate.
