Q: Why doesn't a charger come with this keyboard?
A: If you bought this keyboard (as I have) you (or someone you know) no doubt has the Samsung Galaxy Tab S (as I do) that it mates with. You (or the recipient of this gift) are expected to use (yes, it is compatible) the charger that came with the tablet. It is unfortunate that Samsung doesn't offer a charger that provides two micro-usb plugs in a daisy chain configuration that allows constant household current to both devices. We'll just have to wait until Samsung provides one as an accessory or one becomes available from a third party vendor. I hope this answers your question.
A: I know this is going to sound stupid on the surface...but did you turn the keyboard on? I experienced the same frustration...the mouse connected right away, but I could not get the keyboard to connect to save my life. I ended up going into Best Buy and the Samsung rep turned the keyboard on and I felt like a total idiot! There is a very small power switch on the edge of the keyboard that if not turned to the "ON" position the keyboard will never make connection to the tablet.
Q: Is there a registration problem at Samsung with the new samsung tablet S 32 gb ?
A: Yes, I made them aware of it. It was very difficult finding the right person to talk to who understood what I was talking about. Seems Best Buy has an exclusive on the 32GB so Samsung did not have it listed in their data base. Samsung's website added the SKU for it, but it still just has a generic photo and no other information about the tablet when you register. I also registered mine with the 16GB device SKU and it did accept my serial number, so apparently Samsung has the serial numbers for the 32GB mixed with the 16GB data base.

A: No. The keyboard does not actually plug into the tablet at all. The keyboard battery is for the Bluetooth transceiver only.
