• A:Answer It doesn't self clean. You have to manually clean it. Frequency would depend on how much long hair gets caught under it and I guess how dirty of a place you live in.

• A:Answer No, you use the provided cleaning tool to cut and untangle. That said, we haven’t had to do that since we got it (about a month) and our yellow lab is not shy with his shedding. Longer hairs/fibers may be more of an issue.

• A:Answer It does have a bin you can pop open on the bottom of the bot. If it gets clogged and the auto-empty isn’t working, that’s how you’d manually clean it. If you don’t want to use the bags, you could empty the bot that way.
