Yes, you can. Just be patient working with Comcast Xfinity Customer Support, it will take about an hour to commission the box, and it is something you can do yourself after getting the M-Type CableCard from ComCast. They get to charge you 'rent' for the card, but it is cheaper than the box and DVR.

However, be aware that your savings for the X1 box is offset by the fee Comcast charges for the cablecard that the Bolt requires. Also there is a monthly fee that Tivo charges. The real savings comes from connecting Tivo minis to the Bolt for use in other rooms of your house. There are no cablecards needed for the Tivo Mini units or Tivo service fees.
