- Answer If you purchase the one time payment. There is never any fees after that. But if your box ever goes bad,you will have to pay again because you are paying service for that one particular box that you own. So buying a new box if your other goes bad,is like starting all over as a new customer

- Answer The lifetime available on the OTA TIVO BOLT is $250 if you want to avoid any monthly or yearly charges. Monthly and Yearly also available. No additional setup costs except for equipment such as a HD antenna if you don't already have one.

- Answer That has nothing to do with Bolt! If you have Cablevision that's On Demand with them.Bolt on demand is a search program that see if you have access to it. Tivo with Cable is not what I have ,Antenna and Roku.

- Answer No, you won't get past the please purchase an activation plan screen... there is a service free option by a program called Channel Master, but the menus and features are not as rich as the TiVo. I just buy the lifetime service and get it out of the way because I love my TiVo

QuestionCan you get 2 of these and be able to use them together like the Vox mini in a whole home kind of set up? I'd rather just spend the extra $20 and have more reconding storage than get a mini that just works as a repeater.

- Answer Yes, up to 4. One time recordings I believe up to 2 weeks but you can set a show to record anytime it is on. Plus you can set it from an app on your phone from wherever you are.

- Answer Yes, this unit records shows directly from your antenna. It has an antenna input and a HDMI output for your TV. It does require a $7 per month or $70 per year or $250 for lifetime fee to use the TV guide service that allows you to set up your recordings..

- Answer It is for a TV using an Antenna. I haven’t used it with my Alexa. The life time subscription to the guide is available for a one time cost of 249.99. At least that is what I paid a couple of months ago.
