Does this device work with both cable and antanas? null

This specific model works with both. There are also ota models, which only work with broadcast, but have cheaper service (and are otherwise identical), and cable only models which can record from 6 instead of 4 channels at once. The newer Tivo Edge units similarly have an ota model, so you’d just have to double check the specific model against what you need.

There is one Tivo for cable and another for antenna. They are not interchangeable. It says on the box what type it is.
