“How loud is the DVR? My current Charter spinning hard drive is louder than my normal listening levels and is a huge distraction. Does this use an SSD hard drive?”

This can be a bit noisy- mostly at times when it’s quiet and the tv is off... however, if you put it in standby then shut off the tv, it quiets down considerably.

I do not notice any noise coming from it other than the cooling fan, which isn't too bad. I do not believe it is an SSD but it certainly isn't a loud clanker either.
