We have a TiVO, Spectrum installs a program card in the unit, for which we pay $2 per month to them. The TiVO unit records up to 4 shows at a time from Spectrum programming.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but then you have a $2 month charge for a cable card that must go in the Tivo. And a Tuning adapter box (spectrum provides) has to be plugged in. It never works on first setup and you have to call support. It is a pain for it to get setup. Also if you didnt notice Tivo itself has a monthly or yearly subscription, or you can pay a single lifetime fee. In the end though ive considered it worth it for the better speed and recording abilities of Tivo. Including the Tivo letting you watch recordings on you tablet in your house or away (with limitations).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can but you will have to pay TiVo $15 per month and spectrum $1 per month for a card to access their channels. My two cent advise is to stay with the current set up
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need a Spectrum CableCard which costs approx $2/month, and if you get more than the Select Package you will need a Spectrum Tuning Adapter, which is no-charge. So the savings would be more on the order of $6/month. Check your local Spectrum Reatil Rates for the CableCard charge in your market.
